The Fredonia State men's hockey and women's basketball teams encourage their fans to come out and support the teams by wearing blue for their games Saturday at Steele Hall.
The Blue-Out is an event that hopes to attract fans from both the school and the community to come to the game wearing blue and cheer the Blue Devils to SUNYAC victories.
Spectators are encouraged to wear blue to support the women's basketball team as they play SUNY Cortland at 2 p.m. in the Steele Hall Fieldhouse and the men's hockey team as they battle Morrisville State at 7 p.m. in the Ice Arena.
Among the activities planned are picture taking with Blue Devil mascot and face painting courtesy of the Blue Devil cheerleaders. There will be a shoot-out activity for children in the upper level of the Steele Hall during the hockey game and there will be a half-time free throw competition at the women's game for a pizza prize.
Interns from the Sport Management and Exercise Science Department organized the event.
