ORLANDO, Fla. -- The Fredonia State cheerleaders fell 1.75 points shoft of advancing to the finals of the 2012 University Cheerleading Association's College national competition at Walt Disney Resort.

The Blue Devils were competing in the All Girl Division II category. After Saturday morning preliminaries, nine finalists were chosen. They were: University of West Georgia, Slippery Rock, Avila, Kutztown, Misericordia, College of
New Jersey, Southern Connecticut State, Scranton, and Concord.
