FREDONIA, N.Y. -- Two Fredonia State men's track and field indoor records were set last Saturday while the Blue Devils were competing at the Mount Union Wuske Invitational.
In the pole vault, senior
Broncho Rollins (Ithaca) cleared 4.73 meters, converted to 15 feet, 6 ¼ inches. Another senior, sprinter
Webster Thomas (Windsor, Conn.), accounted for the other indoor record when he was clocked in 7.04 seconds while winning the 55-meter dash.
The Blue Devil men and women will compete at Cornell's Robert J. Kane Invitational starting with the women's pentathlon and men's heptathlon Friday. The majority of the meet is Saturday.
