INFORMATION FOR USE
Students
- Must be current semester registered without any holds on account.
- Summer access is granted to summer semester registered students and students registered for spring semester and are registered for the upcoming fall semester.
- J-term access is granted to J-Term registered students and students that were registered for the fall semester and are registered for the upcoming spring semester.
- Students who have graduated and incoming first year students do not have facility access.
Faculty/Staff
- Any faculty/staff wishing to use the facility must purchase a membership from the Faculty Student Association in Gregory Hall.
- Rate for faculty and staff with University ID (MC, CSEA, UUP, PEF, FSA, Day Care, RF, Incubator staff, Credit Union, Emeriti/ae):
- $77.50 Annual Rate
- $32.25 Per Semester Rate
- $62.50 Fall & Spring Semesters Rate
- $12.90 Summer Rate

Spouse/Partner
- A non-faculty/staff membership is available for a spouse/partner of a student, faculty/staff and emeriti/ae or emeritus/a faculty with a current fitness center membership.
- Memberships must be purchased from the Faculty Student Association in Gregory Hall.
- Rate for non-faculty and staff (spouses/partners living at same address as primary member):
- $125 Annual Rate
- $50 Per Semester Rate

FITNESS CENTER FEATURES
- 9,000 square feet
- Two-sided rock-climbing wall with auto-belay
- All new equipment: 18 treadmills, 10 cross trainers, 25 elliptical machines, 5 adaptive motion trainers, 4 recumbent bikes, 4 upright bikes, 1 upper body ergometer, 25 selectorized weight machines, 1 Smith machine, 8 adjustable benches, 3 abdominal benches, 3 heavy duty power racks with platforms, 6,500 pounds of free weights, 10 medicine balls, 10 exercise balls, 30 resistance bands, 20 work-out mats.
BRIEF HISTORY
Under the guidance of former University President Dr. Dennis Hefner and former Vice President for Student Affairs Dr. David Herman, planning for the Blue Devils Fitness Center began in earnest in 2011 after the Student Association approved the use of student fees to build and equip the facility. University construction funds were also used. The facility was designed by JCJ Architecture. Assistance was provided by Fredonia State University Facilities Planning and the Department of Athletics and Recreation. Input from student groups was sought during the design and planning stages. The Blue Devils Fitness Center opened Feb. 4, 2013. The official ribbon cutting ceremony was held Feb. 22, 2013.
